This course is aimed at those individuals who require detailed information on the newest techniques in product development through integrated supportability engineering that influences product design to achieve the preferred maintenance solution. The course provides the basic concepts and processes employed by today’s most successful organizations to produce state-of-the-art products to meet new and challenging circumstances. The techniques presented include the latest ideas for research and development think-tanks in the automotive and aviation industries. The art of Systems Architecting and the science of Systems Engineering form the basis for many of the discussions. Examples will be provided for each topic. Mathematical calculation methods are provided where appropriate to illustrate application of theories.
